Our Story

From the Streets to
Dignity and Hope

Since 2014, we've been walking alongside vulnerable children and widows in Kitale—transforming lives through education, shelter, food, and care.

Born from Compassion

Love In Action was founded in 2014 by Raphael Baraka and Tony Malaish—two Kenyans who refused to look away from children living on the streets. What started as a simple desire to care has grown into a registered nonprofit, supported by partners and donors, making real change in Kitale.

In 2019, new leadership and expertise joined the team, deepening our impact and expanding our vision. Every child we serve deserves dignity, hope, and a chance to thrive.
